‘One Good Run” started it’s life as a ’82 Suzuki GN400, we decided to build a Salt Lakes Racer (SLR) first to test at Kalahari Speed Week, and then to Bonneville Speed Week 2015. We replaced the 16” rear wheel with an 18”, lengthened the sing arm by 150mm to give it a little more stability and to accommodate the larger wheel, and reduced the rear sprocket.
Scorch Exhausts build us a larger diameter exhaust to allow it to breathe better and we tuned the carburetor accordingly. We shaped and manufactured our own tailpiece and used a retro bullet shaped headlamp, something we will lose once the dustbin style fairing is ready to go on. All paint was done by Rustguard Panel beaters
